3 – Portugal


Portugal ranks 3rd among EU countries with the highest GDP growth during the fourth quarter of 2023, with 2.2%, according to Eurostat.

 

Portugal is not only one of the fastest growing economies in the EU, but figures show an upward trend compared to the previous quarter, since the country registered a 1.9% average annual change for the third quarter of 2023, that was ahead of the EU average of 0%.
