Portugal won the prize for the Best Organic Bread in the World at the World Bakery Championship in Italy. Portugal has the Best Organic and Nutritional Bread in the world.


The SIGEP championshiop (Feira Internacional de Padaria, Pastelaria e Gelado) distinguished the Padaria Dias bakery with the Award of the Best Organic and Nutritional Bread in the world.


According to the celebrity bakers, the Portuguese bread contains the flavors of Serra da Estrela, thus obtaining the name Rosa Negra, meaning black rose, that is the name of one of the most iconic regions of the Serra da Estrela mountain range in Central Portugal.
