Portugal luxury brands news - Dolce&Gabbana just launched a perfume inspired by Portugal.

French perfumer Daphné Bugey is based in Lisbon where her home overlooks a fragrant garden that inspired her to create and bottle a new fragrance for a Dolce&Gabbana perfume. This love affair with the fragrance of Portugal’s fruit trees led to the creation of the K and Q Eaux de Parfum Intense fragrance perfumes that are enhanced by the aromas of lemons and oranges, that merge with the intensity of jasmine petals and the sensuality of cherries.

For the French perfumer who chose to live in Lisbon, Portugal evokes the fragrance of lemons, oranges, and cherries. Living in Lisbon is an endless source of inspiration for the creator of French designer perfumes since the fruity fragrances evoke the sun and warmth of southern Europe and lead the senses to travel all the way from Portugal to Italy.

The new K by Dolce&Gabbana Eau de Parfum Intense bottle design is midnight blue for men to evoke a strong and charismatic masculine fragrance that combines leathery woody scents spiced with saffron and fig notes. Its counterpart for women is the Q by Dolce&Gabbana Eau de Parfum Intense that depicts a regal gold and red crown while the glass bottle has a bold cherry hue to evoke a combination of dark cherry, heliotrope, and amber as dominant notes.

Lisbon-based French perfumer Daphné Bugey develops fragrances for a number of luxury brands including Dolce & Gabbana, Kenzo, Jean-Paul Gaultier and Hugo Boss.
