Portugal Green news - Iberdrola & BP invest EUR 1 billion in EV charging points on the Iberian Peninsula, in line with their renewable energy agenda.
A joint venture between Iberdrola and BP Pulse, that is the BP brand for electrical charging points, will lead to the creation of a new company that will invest in the development of 5,000 EV charging points on the Iberian Peninsula by 2025 and 11,700 EV charging points by 2030.
The new company will promote access to reliable high-speed charging infrastructure that will promote the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) in Spain and in Portugal in line with the EU Renewable Energy Directive.
