investment in renewable energy & hydrogen - Portugal Business News Portugal news - Private investment in renewable energy and hydrogen in Portugal should reach 40 billion euros, according to the Minister of Environment and Energy, Graça Carvalho.   Portugal is expecting private investment in hydrogen projects to 18.9 billion euros and in renewable energy projects to reach 20.9 billion euros. There are many national and international companies that want to invest in Portugal’s energy sector, including requests for connection to the grid, licensing requests and environmental impact assessments.   At the industry level, Portugal will soon launch a new auction for renewable gases in addition to the 140-million-euro auction under the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).   Moreover, Portugal has allocated public funds amounting to 17.6 billion euros for investment in the renewable energy and hydrogen sector.   Portugal has set a new target for reducing greenhouse gases by 55% by 2030 compared to 2005, increasing the share of renewable energy by 51%, and increasing storage capacity by two gigawatts. Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners lance un fonds de 12 milliards et à l'œil sur l’Europe occidentale comme région à faible risque - PBN Actualités énergies renouvelables UE -   Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, qui vient d’annoncer un fonds de 12 milliards d’euros pour des projets d’infrastructures énergétiques, à l'œil sur l’Europe occidentale comme région à faible risque.   Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) investit dans des infrastructures énergétiques sous contrat à long terme avec pour objectif de générer des rendements ajustés au risque qui sont attrayants et des flux de trésorerie stables, prévisibles et à long terme ayant une faible corrélation avec le cycle économique.   Alors que le Portugal se positionne comme un pôle d’hydrogène vert pour l’UE dans la région de Sines, le fonds danois Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) s’est associé à Madoqua Renewable et Dutch Power2X pour construire un projet d’un milliard d’euros  au Portugal qui produira 50,000 tonnes d’hydrogène vert par an.   Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners investit également 8 milliards d’EUR  dans l’énergie éolienne offshore à Figueira da Foz, au Portugal. Le projet Nortada du fonds d’investissement danois produira 2 GW et sera le premier parc éolien offshore à grande échelle au Portugal.
