French Mistral AI raises 1.7 Billion Euros Series C - Portugal Business News

Tech Funding News Europe - French Tech startup Mistral AI just raised 1.7 billion Euros in a Series C funding round led by ASML, with the participation of existing investors DST Global, Andreessen Horowitz, Bpifrance, General Catalyst, Index Ventures, Lightspeed and NVDIA.  

The new investment round increases the valuation of Mistral AI to 11.7 billion euros, making it the most valuable AI startup in Europe.

The industrial partnership between Mistral AI and ASML will support the global semiconductor equipment manufacturer to keep pushing the frontier of AI in order to solve the most critical and sophisticated technological challenges faced by highly complex industries.

This new investment will ensure the commitment of Mistral AI towards independence, while promoting a decentralization and openness to give people ownership of AI.
