Portugal investment news - Medialivre is Cristiano Ronaldo’s new media brand. A new media brand is born, since the Portuguese media conglomerate Cofina is rebranded Medialivre on December 14th, 2023.
Cristiano Ronaldo and a group of investors bought Cofina Media on October 26th, 2023, through company Expressão Livre.
The new investors rebranded the media group Medialivre and the branding includes a colorful pink, purple and blue logo that is preceded by three dots. The three pink dots symbolize both continuity and something new, both the path that was traced and the one to be followed, through a free exchange of ideas and dialogue that is a never-ending process. The new logo “is not just a design issue, but rather a reflection of the fundamental values of a sustainable and people-focused company", according to Medialivre.
Portuguese media group Cofina, that is now rebranded Medialivre, includes four newspapers, two printed magazines, two online People magazines, and one cable TV channel.
