What is Portugal´s ARI Golden Visa regime?
Portugal´s ARI Golden Visa regime is a Residence Permit for Investment that is in force since October 8, 2012, and that allows nationals of third countries to obtain a temporary residence permit through investment, with the freedom to travel within the Schengen Area without needing a visa.
Here are the main benefits of Portugal´s ARI Golden Visa regime:
1 - Portugal´s ARI Golden Visa regime allows the beneficiary to travel within the Schengen Area without needing a visa;
2 - Portugal´s ARI Golden Visa regime allows the beneficiary to enter Portugal without needing a residence visa;
3 - Portugal´s ARI Golden Visa regime allows the beneficiary to reside and work in Portugal, and to remain in Portugal for only a minimum period of 7 days in the first year and of 14 days in subsequent years;

4 - You can obtain Portugal´s ARI Golden Visa by investing at least 250,000 euros for artistic production activities, or for the restoration or maintenance of national cultural heritage buildings.
