Portugal news - Portugal ranks 36th most competitive country globally, according to the World Competitiveness Ranking 2024 by Swiss institute IMD.

 

Portugal rose 3 ranks in the 2024 World Competitiveness Ranking, going from 39th to 36th most competitive country globally. The ranking is based on the country’s Economic Performance score ranked 39th, Government Efficiency score ranked 41st, Business Efficiency score ranked 39th, and Infrastructure score ranked 26th.

 

The Top 10 most competitive countries in the world are Singapore, Switzerland, Denmark, Ireland, Hong Kong, Sweden, UAE, Taiwan, Netherlands and Norway.

 

The International Institute for Management Development (IMD) is a business school with headquarters in Switzerland.
