Portugal news - Portugal ranks 4th country with the highest surplus in the Eurozone for Q2 2024, according to Eurostat.
What Eurozone countries have the highest surplus?
The eurozone countries with the highest surplus for Q2 2024 are Cyprus with 4.6%, Denmark with 3.3%, Ireland with 3.1% and Portugal with 2.6%. This compares to the public deficit in the eurozone that was -3% of GDP and -3.1% in the European Union for the second quarter of 2024.
