Portugal news - Portugal’s GDP growth rate records the highest increase in the EU for the fourth quarter of 2024 as a percentage change compared with the previous quarter of 2024, according to Eurostat:

Here is the list of countries with the highest GDP growth for the fourth quarter of 2024 as a percentage change compared with the previous quarter:

1)  Portugal – with +1.5%, Portugal recorded the highest GDP increase compared to the previous quarter

2)  Lithuania - +0.9%

3)  Spain - +0.8%

Here is the list of countries with the highest GDP growth rates in volume up to 2024Q4 as a percentage change compared with the same quarter of the previous year:

1 – Lithuania – 3.6%

2- Spain – 3.5%

3 – Portugal – 2.7%

Compared with the same quarter of the previous year, seasonally adjusted GDP increased by 0.9% in the euro area and by 1.1% in the EU in the fourth quarter of 2024.
