Portuguese Fintech Startup Granter raises €1.6M
Tech News Europe - Portuguese Fintech Startup Granter has raised 1.6 million euros in a funding round led by Portuguese investor 3xP Global, with the participation of Celtis Venture Partners, Gateway Ventures, and US Unicorn Deel, among other investors. This brings the total capital raised by startup Granter, that was founded in 2023, to 2 million euros. With this new funding round, Granter will be able to make grants accessible to every organization in Europe, making sure good ideas get the funding they deserve.

Granter is used by the Portuguese Navy and is expanding to work with other branches of the Portuguese Armed Forces and Security Forces. Granter´s internationalization plans include Spain and the DACH region, with Germany and Austria, as these countries have similar structures for applying for European funds.
Granter is already preparing for another investment round that will allow the startup to expand to the US market, but their focus is on Europe for the moment. With US Unicorn Deel among its investors, startup Granter will be following a growth strategy where a global company provides local expertise in each country where it operates.
