Portugal news - Portuguese furniture brand LASKASAS is investing 2.2 million euros to expand to Qatar.
Portuguese hand-crafted furniture brand LASKASAS, that is headquartered in Porto, is expanding to Qatar with its first store in Doha. Since the company already has significant exports in the Middle East, opening a store in the capital of Qatar is a natural extension.
The LASKASAS furniture brand has registered an increase of more 70% in sales to Qatar over the last three years, with a turnover of 2.3 million euros in 2023. The LASKASAS signature brand, that combines creativity with high quality design, expects to achieve a turnover of five million euros in Qatar within two years.
Hand-crafted in Portugal, each piece of furniture is a journey that reveals the art of Portuguese talent in the many export destinations that appreciate the uniqueness of what is handmade.
Portuguese furniture company LASKASAS has over 400 employees and more than 40 outlets worldwide, including the Dominican Republic, London and Angola.
