Startup Reckon.ai raises € 5.1M in a new funding round

Tech Startup News Europe – Portuguese Startup Reckon.ai just raised 5.1 million euros in a new funding round that leads to a total investment of 8.5 million euros since 2017.
Reckon.ai has successfully closed a new funding round of 5.1million euros, with the participation of Iberis Capital, Alea Capital Partners, and Touro Capital Partners as their latest investors.
The new funding obtained by startup Reckon.ai will accelerate their growth, enabling them to push even further in reshaping autonomous retail through groundbreaking AI technology. The Reckon.ai startup has developed AI-powered, autonomous freezers that are redefining what’s possible in unattended retail.
Portuguese tech startup Reckon.ai is an AI-powered OS for Smart and Unattended Retail with patented AI technology that transforms existing infrastructure - such as cabinets, fridges and shelves - into smart, autonomous assets.
Reckon.ai is increasing its network of partners to distribute and operate their next-generation freezers. A week ago, Reckon. Ai announced a partnership with Unilever Ice Cream, now known as The Magnum Ice Cream Company, to launch a major smart vending rollout in the coming months. Reckon.ai also just announced a groundbreaking collaboration in Paris with ibis, ibis Styles, and ibis budget from Accor Hotels, as well as Carrefour Belgium that will be reshaping the future of retail tech.
With this new investment round, startup Reckon.ai will strengthen its expansion in the EU and US markets.
