Portugal tax news – What are the tax deadlines in Portugal in 2024?
Here are all the tax deadlines in Portugal in 2024:
February 26th: Deadline for validating tax invoices on Portugal’s Finance Portal.
April 1st: Deadline for claiming general and family expense invoices for tax return in Portugal.
May 31st: Deadline for paying the first installment of Municipal Property Tax (IMI) in Portugal.
June 30th: Deadline for paying Personal Income Tax and to submit the IRS declaration in Portugal.
August 31st: Deadline for paying the second installment of Municipal Property Tax (IMI) in Portugal only for amounts that are higher than €500.
November 30th: Deadline for paying the second installment of Municipal Property Tax (IMI) in Portugal only for amounts that are below €500.
November 30th: Deadline for paying the third installment of Municipal Property Tax (IMI) in Portugal only for amounts that are higher than €500.
Road tax (IUC): The deadline for paying the road tax (IUC – Single Circulation Tax) in Portugal is the last day of the month of registration. If the last day of the month falls on the weekend, payment can be made until the next business day.
