Investment News World - Here is the ranking of the Top 10 countries attracting the most wealth globally, according to the Global Wealth Mobility Leaders 2026 report by Henley & Partners, published on June 16th, 2026:
Around the world, countries are falling over themselves to attract the wealthy, while Switzerland has been doing so since the 1880s. Now, much of Mediterranean Europe is doing the same, including Greece, Italy, and Portugal, as well as Cyprus and Malta.
The Wealth Mobility ranking reflects the relative competitiveness of jurisdictions for globally mobile wealth within the 2026 Global Wealth Mobility Framework.
The Top 10 countries in the world that attract the most wealth demonstrate particularly strong structural positioning for globally mobile wealth, based on a combination of policy competitiveness, investor access, institutional quality, resilience, and international optionality.
Here is the ranking of the Top 10 countries attracting the most wealth globally in 2026:
1 - Singapore
Singapore ranks No. 1 country that attracts the most wealth globally in 2026.
Singapore remains the world’s most attractive destination for globally mobile wealth, even as family-office thresholds and entry requirements become more selective.
2 - New Zealand
New Zealand ranks 2nd country that attracts the most wealth globally in 2026.
New Zealand is one of the Top countries in the world to attract wealth since the relaunch of the Active Investor Plus Visa that has generated hundreds of applications within nine months compared with little more than one hundred over the previous two and a half years. Responses that might once have unfolded over generations are increasingly visible within reporting cycles.
The implication is not that wealth moves solely in response to tax policy or migration programs. Rather, globally mobile individuals and families are becoming increasingly sensitive to changes in competitiveness, access, predictability, and long-term planning conditions.
3 - Cayman Islands
Cayman Islands ranks 3rd country that attracts the most wealth globally in 2026.
4 - Cyprus
Cyprus ranks 4th country that attracts the most wealth globally in 2026.
5 - Netherlands
Netherlands ranks 5th country that attracts the most wealth globally in 2026.
6 - Portugal
Portugal ranks 6th country that attracts the most wealth globally in 2026.
7 - Italy
Italy ranks 7th country that attracts the most wealth globally in 2026.
Italy is one of the Top countries in the world to attract wealth since new residents benefit from a flat charge on foreign income over 15 years, with no foreign wealth tax, and a firm grandfathering clause — a wealth scheme few countries match. When the lump sum rose to EUR 300,000 on 1 January 2026, demand for moving wealth to Italy remained resilient and increasingly concentrated among ultra-high-net-worth families, reflecting the continued attractiveness of a predictable, long-term framework relative to the potential tax exposure they may face elsewhere.
8 - Bermuda
Bermuda ranks 8th country that attracts the most wealth globally in 2026.
9 - Uruguay
Uruguay ranks 9th country that attracts the most wealth globally in 2026.
10 - Latvia
Latvia ranks 10th country that attracts the most wealth globally in 2026.
