Financial News Europe – Here are the Top 10 European countries with the highest wealth equality in 2025, as well as the European country with the highest wealth inequality, according to the UBS Global Wealth Report.

Wealth equality in each country is measured by the Gini Coefficient that measures the extent to which the distribution of income within a country deviates from a perfectly equal distribution. Gini coefficients vary between 0 and 1. A higher score indicates higher inequality, while a lower score denotes a more equal distribution of wealth.

The European country with the highest wealth inequality is Russia that denotes that Russia has the least equal distribution of wealth in the world in 2025.

Russia’s Gini Coefficient in 2024 is 0.82, that is the highest wealth inequality score in Europe and also the highest wealth inequality score in the world, together with Brazil that is also the country with the highest wealth inequality in the world with a Gini Coefficient in 2024 of 0.82.
