Financial News – Here are the Top 10 Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) deals in the EMEA region in 2025, as well as the Top 5 sectors for the largest M&A deals in the EMEA region, according to a report by Datasite published in February 2026:

 

Most of EMEA’s largest M&A deals were in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector that reached an aggregate value of Euros 252.1 billion, an increase of 23.3% year-on-year, as investment focused on cybersecurity and digital connectivity companies.

Palo Alto Networks Inc. ranks the No. 1 bidder company in the EMEA region in the M&A sector with a deal value of 21,275 million euros for a 100% stake in target company CyberArk Software Ltd (a cybersecurity company) on July 30th, 2025.

 

 

2 - Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. – Consumer sector

 

Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. ranks 2nd bidder company in the EMEA region in the M&A sector with a deal value of 19,727 million euros for a 100% stake in target company JDE Peet's NV (a global coffee company) on August 25th, 2025, through vendor company JAB Holding Company SARL.

 

 

3 - Orange SA ; Bouygues Telecom SA ; Bouygues SA ; Iliad SA – TMT sector  

 

Orange SA; Bouygues Telecom SA; Bouygues SA; Iliad SA rank 3rd in the ranking of bidder companies in the EMEA region in the M&A sector with a deal value of 17,000 million euros for a 100% stake in target company Altice France SA (a telecommunications company in France) on October 14th, 2025, through vendor company Altice Luxembourg SA.

Orange SA ranks 4th bidder company in the EMEA region in the M&A sector with a deal value of 16,757 million euros for a 50% stake in target company MasOrange SL on October 31st, 2025, through vendor companies Cinven Ltd.; KKR & Co. Inc.; Providence Equity Partners LLC.

 

 

5 - Borealis GmbH; OMV AG - Industrials & chemicals sector

 

Borealis GmbH; OMV AG rank 5th in the ranking of bidder companies in the EMEA region in the M&A sector with a deal value of 15,812 million euros for a 64% stake in target company Borouge plc on March 3rd, 2025, through vendor company Abu Dhabi National Oil Company PJSC.

Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena SpA ranks 6th bidder company in the EMEA region in the M&A sector with a deal value of 14,326 million euros for a 85.37% stake in target company Mediobanca – Banca di Credito Finanziario SpA on January 24th, 2025.
