Insurance companies in Portugal grew by 1 billion euros during the first semester of 2025, that represents a market growth of 14.2% compared to the same period in 2024. Life insurance policies grew by 19.4% to reach 3,890 million euros, while non-life insurance policies grew by 9.6% to reach 4,097 million euros, compared to the same period in 2024.
