Portugal news - Unicorn Sword Health is recruiting for over 100 tech jobs in Portugal.

 

Portuguese tech unicorn Sword Health is the fastest growing tech company in Portugal, according to Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 ranking 2023, and employs a team of over 850 tech employees globally, of which more than 300 in Portugal.

 

Portuguese unicorn Sword Health is registering a high-growth trajectory driven by innovation and is therefore recruiting tech professionals to keep up with the company’s exponential growth. Since the tech company has Portuguese roots, there is a strong focus on strengthening the Portugal-based team while also growing the global team, namely in the US and in Brazil.

 

The tech jobs currently available at Sword Health are in the fields of AI, Engineering, Product, Data, Finance and Marketing.

 

Commenting on Portuguese tech talent, Jorge Meireles, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Sword Health, stated that they focus on “national talent which has been, and continues to be, at the origin of our success”.

 

In June 2024, Portuguese unicorn Sword Health raised USD 130 million in a mix of primary and secondary sale, increasing the company’s valuation to USD 3 Billion.
