Wildfires in Portugal affected homes near the Valpaços municipality, disrupted traffic near the Pínzio municipality, including the closure of the A25 motorway, and prompted the precautionary evacuation of around 800 people from 14 localities as a consequence of the fire near the Fermoselle municipality in Spain.
