Portugal news - Allianz chooses Lisbon as their European Tech Hub.
The new Allianz tech hub in Lisbon will be called Allianz Services and will support the group’s operations as a back office and call center platform, with the aim of providing services to other Allianz entities in Europe at lower costs.
The reason why Allianz group selected Lisbon as their new European Tech Hub is mainly because it will offer cost advantages to other operating entities in Europe, while providing high-quality services. The Lisbon tech hub will ensure a high-quality response in real time, enabling AI and offering services at scale, with simplified processes to generate cost benefits.
Allianz Services global will invest in the training and development of their employees in Portugal in order to increase their qualifications and offer them career prospects within the Allianz Group.
Allianz group already has four companies in Portugal, namely Allianz Portugal, Allianz Seguros for insurance services, Allianz Partners and Allianz Trade. Allianz Portugal has 600 employees serving around one million customers.
