House prices in the EU have increased by 4.9% on average during the fourth quarter of 2024 compared with the same quarter of the previous year, according to Eurostat.

 

However, house prices have risen well above the EU average in a number of EU countries, and the figures below show the ranking of the Top 5 EU countries where house prices have risen well above the EU average in Q4 2024 as a percentage change compared with Q4 2023.

 

 

Here are the Top 5  EU countries where house prices have risen the most end of 2024:  



1 – Bulgaria


Bulgaria ranks No. 1 country in the EU where house prices have risen the most in Q4 2024 compared to Q4 2023 with a 18.3% increase.

 


2 – Hungary


Hungary ranks 2nd country in the EU where house prices have risen the most in Q4 2024 compared to Q4 2023 with a 13% increase.

 

 

3 – Portugal


Portugal ranks 3rd country in the EU where house prices have risen the most in Q4 2024 compared to Q4 2023 with an 11.6% increase.

 

 

4 - Spain


Spain ranks 4th country in the EU where house prices have risen the most in Q4 2024 compared to Q4 2023 with an 11.4% increase.

 

 

5 – Netherlands
