Portugal news - Lisbon will host the largest software engineering event in the world on April 14 – 20, 2024.
The most important international conference in the field of software engineering has so far 1,700 participants, that is far more than the number of participants in the 2023 event that was held in Australia.
The International Conference on Software Engineering is the premier software engineering conference. Since 1975, ICSE provides a forum where researchers, practitioners, and educators gather to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, experiences, and issues in the field of software engineering.
The main topics of the 2024 software engineering conference are AI, software sustainability and energy costs, trustworthy software for applications such as banking or self-driving cars, quantum software engineering as well as recent innovations and research.
The sponsors of the 2024 International Conference on Software Engineering event in Portugal are IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) and ACM (Association for Computing Machinery).
