Portugal News - Louis Vuitton burgers are coming to Portugal in 2025 under the brand name Goiko.
The Spanish designer burger chain Goiko was bought in 2018 by the L. Catterton fund, an investment vehicle of Louis Vuitton (LVHM) for 120 million euros. While the Louis Vuitton investment vehicle owns 80% of Goiko, the remaining 20% is still owned by the founder, Andoni Goicoechea.
The Louis Vuitton burger chain Goiko has already opened a Portuguese branch that is owned equally by the Spanish group and Portuguese company BT Burguer.
Goiko’s star burger is the Kevin Bacon, named after the star of the 80s musical Footloose, and just this year alone, Goiko has already served over a million Kevin Bacons.
The Louis Vuitton gourmet burger chain, that is present in Spain, Andorra and France, will soon be redesigning the fast-food sector in Italy and Portugal.
