Portugal news - Portuguese tech startup OSCAR, that just raised 6 million euros, aims to be the No 1 Home Services app in Europe.
Home services startup OSCAR just raised funding to expand to Europe via an investment round led by Lince Capital and Indico Capital Partners, with support from Failup Ventures, Olisipo Way, Boost Capital Partners, Quiet Capital and the founders of unicorns Bolt and Wolt.
With this new investment round, tech startup OSCAR has raised over 8 million euros in less than a year and has already expanded to Spain.
Portuguese startup OSCAR, that has a turnover of over 7 million euros, has more than tripled its turnover within the last 6 months. With a client base of 300,000 customers and a team of over 12,000 technicians, the OSCAR app provides a range of home services including plumbing and electrical services, repairs for appliances, cleaning, laundry and even beauticians for home manicures and pedicures.
For booking home services at a fixed price, customers can download the OSCAR app and book a technician who arrives within 30 minutes with an online tracking system. The internationalization of this practical home services app should turn it into a household name very soon.
