Europe’s No. 1 fastest supercomputer in 2025 is the JUPITER Booster supercomputer from Germany, with 4,801,344 cores and a peak theoretical performance of 930.00 PFlop/s or Petaflops. One petaflop is equal to 1 quadrillion (1,000,000,000,000,000) calculations per second.Â

Germany’s JUPITER Booster ranks fourth fastest supercomputer globally. JUPITER is located at the Forschungszentrum Jülich campus in Germany and operated by the Jülich Supercomputing Centre.

Up to now, the EuroHPC JU has procured ten state-of-the-art supercomputers, located across Europe, including JUPITER that is located at the Forschungszentrum Jülich campus in Germany and operated by the Jülich Supercomputing Centre.
