Collectivement, les gagnants du PITCH Web Summit ont levé 1,5 milliard de dollars et récompensé 21 startups du monde entier depuis le premier concours de PITCH pour les startups en 2013, selon le Web Summit. 1 – La Startup technologique portugaise CODACY La startup technologique portugaise CODACY, qui avait remporté le concours de Pitch du Web Summit en 2014, avait clôturé un cycle de financement de série B de 15 millions d’euros en septembre 2022. Le cycle de financement avait été mené par Bright Pixel Capital qui appartient au groupe Sonae, avec les sociétés de capital-risque Armilar Venture Partners, Faber Ventures, Join Capital, Caixa Capital, EQT Ventures et Iberis Capital. Suite à ce cycle d’investissement de série B, Codacy a levé un montant total de 28 millions d’euros en financement privé. Portugal news - Portuguese tech startup OSCAR, that just raised 6 million euros, aims to be the No 1 Home Services app in Europe. Home services startup OSCAR just raised funding to expand to Europe via an investment round led by Lince Capital and Indico Capital Partners, with support from Failup Ventures, Olisipo Way, Boost Capital Partners, Quiet Capital and the founders of unicorns Bolt and Wolt. With this new investment round, tech startup OSCAR has raised over 8 million euros in less than a year and has already expanded to Spain. Portuguese startup OSCAR, that has a turnover of over 7 million euros, has more than tripled its turnover within the last 6 months. With a client base of 300,000 customers and a team of over 12,000 technicians, the OSCAR app provides a range of home services including plumbing and electrical services, repairs for appliances, cleaning, laundry and even beauticians for home manicures and pedicures. For booking home services at a fixed price, customers can download the OSCAR app and book a technician who arrives within 30 minutes with an online tracking system.
