Portugal’s new Millionaire Strip is located along 45 km of white beaches and a preserved natural environment where luxury Real Estate projects are attracting both Royalty, such as Princess Eugenie, and Hollywood Celebrities such as Nicole Kidman.
The Atlantic Club Comporta is a luxury beach resort developed by German family office Rockstone that intends to invest more than 250 million euros in real estate in Portugal, including a second beach resort in Melides which is made famous by Christian Louboutin.
Luxury beach resort Atlantic Club Comporta is located near the Carvalhal and Pego beaches and is comprised of 24 villas spread across more than 15 hectares of land, with a main building that includes a reception, lounges, and a restaurant. The first phase is nearing completion and half of the properties have already been sold.
The architecture of The Atlantic Club Comporta is inspired by the traditional huts of fishermen and agricultural workers in the region and is being designed by world-renowned interior designer Jacques Grange to celebrate Comporta's authentic lifestyle and safeguard the region's unique attributes by establishing important connections with local producers and artisans.
Why is Portugal becoming the new hotspot for Millionaires?
According to the founder and CEO of Rockstone, Dietrich Rogge, "Portugal has managed to establish a brand, with a position of excellence and recognition across various latitudes. Take the United States, where they call us 'the California' or 'the Hamptons of Europe', this is something unique."
The CEO of Rockstone believes that Portugal is in the midst of a golden decade in the real estate market, with an increasing number of millionaire clients coming from the United States, Brazil, or Mexico.
"There are a large number of high-net-worth individuals who enjoy living elsewhere and come to Portugal because the quality of life here is wonderful. In the case of Atlantic Club Comporta, the line between buying a vacation home and buying a home for a second home is already very thin."
