Nicole Kidman landed at the Tires airfield in Cascais, Lisbon, on July 20th and has already started the process to obtain Portuguese residency in order to buy a house in the luxury resort Costa Terra Golf & Ocean Club in Melides, Setúbal. Nicole Kidman already purchased an apartment in Lisbon in 2023, and is now investing in Portugal’s Setúbal region where international celebrities can enjoy privacy in an idyllic beach location.

Nicole Kidman’s neighbors at the Costa Terra Golf & Ocean Club will be Princess Eugenie and her family, Prince Harry and Meghan, Paris Hilton, George Clooney, and Sharon Stone.
By acquiring a house in CostaTerra resort, celebrities are placing Portugal’s prime property market in the limelight. The 200-hectare luxury development is owned by US company Discovery Land Company and the minimum price for a lot is 3.4 million euros. Costa Terra Golf & Ocean Club in Portugal includes the construction of 292 residences and a golf course designed by Tom Fazio, as well as bars and restaurants.
House prices on Portugal’s prime real estate market are rising rapidly as the country is becoming a celebrity hotspot where the rich and famous such as Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, Scarlett Johansson, Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander, and Monica Bellucci have chosen to buy a property.
