Portugal news – Portuguese solar energy startup Bling Energy has just closed a new seed investment round of 2 million euros.

  

The new investment raised by Bling Energy includes the participation of initial investors, namely Joaquim Servulo Rodrigues who is the founder of Armilar Venture Partners, and the members of the José de Mello family, as well as new investors including LINCE CAPITAL that is led by Vasco Pereira Coutinho.

 

The new investment round brings the capital raised by Bling Energy to three million euros to date, according to Bernardo Fernandez, founder and CEO of Bling Energy.

 

The turnover of Bling Energy doubled compared to the first six months of 2023, and the solar energy startup aims to reach one million euros by the end of 2024. Currently, the startup has over 300 customers and expects to reach 3,000 by the end of 2026.

 

The company’s growth plan includes strategic partners such as Ageas Portugal and Longi, a multinational company that manufactures solar panels, in order to launch new products, including heat pumps, to increase their offering that already includes solar panels and batteries, as well as electric car chargers.

 

The Portuguese renewable energy company currently has job vacancies for commercial, technical, R&D, marketing and business development positions.
