Top 10 best-selling car manufacturers and brands in Europe in 2025:

 

 

1 - Volkswagen Group

 

The Volkswagen Group is the No. 1 car manufacturer that sold the most vehicles in Europe between January and July 2025, with a 27.5% share representing 1,782,824 vehicles sold.

 


Here is the ranking of best-selling car brands from the Volkswagen Group in 2025:

 

1 – Volkswagen with a share of 11.4% of vehicles sold.

2 – Skoda with a share of 5.5% of vehicles sold.

3 – Audi with a share of 4.7% of vehicles sold.

4 – Cupra with a share of 2.3% of vehicles sold.

5 – Seat with a share of 1.8% of vehicles sold.

6 – Porsche with a share of 0.7% of vehicles sold.

7 – Other brands (Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, and MAN) with a share of 0.1% of vehicles sold.

 

 

2 – Stellantis Group

 

The Stellantis Group ranks 2nd car manufacturer that sold the most vehicles in Europe between January and July 2025, with a 16.1% share representing 1,047,094 vehicles sold.

1 – Peugeot with a share of 5.4% of vehicles sold.

2 – Citroen with a share of 3.1% of vehicles sold.

3 - Opel/Vauxhall with a share of 2.9% of vehicles sold.

4 – Fiat (Includes Abarth) with a share of 2.5% of vehicles sold.

5 – Jeep with a share of 1.1% of vehicles sold.

6 - Alfa Romeo with a share of 0.5% of vehicles sold.

7 – DS with a share of 0.3% of vehicles sold.

8 - Lancia/Chrysler with a share of 0.1% of vehicles sold.

 

 

3 – Renault Group

 

The Renault Group ranks 3rd car manufacturer that sold the most vehicles in Europe between January and July 2025, with a 11.5% share representing 744,962 vehicles sold.

 


Here is the ranking of best-selling car brands from the Renault Group in 2025:

 

1 – Renault with a share of 6.2% of vehicles sold.

2 – Dacia with a share of 5.2% of vehicles sold.

3 – Alpine with a share of 0.1% of vehicles sold.

 

 

4 – Toyota Group

 

The Toyota Group ranks 4th car manufacturer that sold the most vehicles in Europe between January and July 2025, with a 8.3% share representing 540,784 vehicles sold.

1 – Toyota with a share of 7.6% of vehicles sold.

2 – Lexus with a share of 0.7% of vehicles sold.

 

 

5 - Hyundai Group

 

The Hyundai Group ranks 5th car manufacturer that sold the most vehicles in Europe between January and July 2025, with a 7.5 % share representing 488,060 vehicles sold.

1 – Hyundai with a share of 3.9% of vehicles sold.

2 – Kia with a share of 3.6% of vehicles sold.

 

 

6 - BMW Group

 

The BMW Group ranks 6th car manufacturer that sold the most vehicles in Europe between January and July 2025, with a 6.9 % share representing 447,671vehicles sold.

1 – BMW with a share of 5.9% of vehicles sold.

2 – Mini with a share of 1.0% of vehicles sold.

 

 

7 - Mercedes-Benz

 

Mercedes-Benz ranks 7th car brand manufacturer that sold the most vehicles in Europe between January and July 2025, with a 5.0 % share representing 322,517 vehicles sold.

 

 

8 – Ford

 

Ford ranks 8th car brand manufacturer that sold the most vehicles in Europe between January and July 2025, with a 2.9 % share representing 188,954 vehicles sold.

 

 

9 – Volvo Cars

 

Volvo Cars rank 9th car brand manufacturer that sold the most vehicles in Europe between January and July 2025, with a 2.2 % share representing 145,851 vehicles sold.

 

 

10 – Nissan
